Marcus Colley,
Director of Criminal Investigations

A native of Moss Point, Mississippi, Captain Marcus Colley comes to the Office of the Attorney General with 26 years experience with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.  Colley has served in many roles including as a Trooper, Director of Basic Training assigned to the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, Lieutenant of Troop K Enforcement, Lieutenant with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) Executive Protection Division, and most recently as Director of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Training Division. As Director of Criminal Investigations, Colley oversees the investigative work of more than 70 sworn law enforcement officers at the Attorney General’s Office.
