Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, MaryAsa worked on Capitol Hill in both the Senate and House Chambers where she managed press operations for three members of Congress. During her time in Washington, DC, MaryAsa also served on the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee handling aviation, space, and trade portfolios. A Desoto County native and former White House intern, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University.
